If your Chromebook needs to be repaired or replaced ~

  • Immediately report this to the front office and a school-issued loaner will be provided until the device is repaired or replaced.
Please NOTE:  Parents should first determine if the repair is a warranty issue for HP or an insurance claim with Worth Ave.

  • any mechanical failure of your device – covered by HP Warranty for 1st year
  • keyboard or screen issues not caused by accidental damage
  • any hardware related issues causing the Chromebook to not function properly

HP Warranty Repairs

  • Within 30 days from purchase – Central Computers will replace the Chromebook
  • Within 90 days from purchase – Central Computers will send out the Chromebook to HP for warranty repair for you
  • After 90 days up to HP warranty period – Contact HP directly and HP picks up directly from you

HP Warranty Repair thru Central Computers - up to 90 days:

  • Bring your Chromebook to Central Computers' Santa Clara store and we will send out to HP for you.
