Tips for Success in Science
My daughter's pre-school had three rules--Be safe, Be Kind, and Do Your Best. I think that's a great foundation, regardless of age. Below are some in-class expectations that build on these simple guidelines:
1. Be Prompt: Show up on time. Have your materials (especially your notebook) with you and be ready to learn.
2. Be Respectful: Raise your hand when you want to contribute. Respect yourself, other students, the classroom, and your teacher.
3. Be Responsible: Use your planner! Remember your due dates. Turn in your homework on time and make sure it is complete. If you have questions come get help.
4. Be Truthful: Always tell the truth, especially when it seems difficult (or if something breaks!).
5. Be Productive: Always do your best. I do not expect all students to earn perfect scores on tests, quizzes, and projects, but I do expect you to grow as a student and an individual.
"We are our choices."
