Período 5 Assignments

Go to this website: https://studyspanish.com/grammar/lessons/presprog and study/ read through the notes on present progressive.  After you have read through the page and taken necessary notes, take the basic quiz located on the left side of the screen.  This will allow you to fill in your answers and then submit those answers and get immediate feedback.  You can then go back and correct your answers. Once you revise your answers, go back to view your answers and print out your final answers to receive credit for this activity. This assignment is worth 10 points.

Unit 4:  Packet and rough draft partner paragraph is due.  Paragraph is typed, double spaced.  Submit a hard copy--one only for the partnership, with both/all  names in a proper MLA heading.  Follow the rubric in the green packet.  You get to choose which day you write about even though in Part 3: Interpersonal Speaking, you fill in activities for three days, with three times each day.  Choose one day, and write a partner paragraph about what three activities you will do with the specific times.  Ask questions in class.

I will hand out the Unit 4 packet in class on 10/3 and 10/4.  Your homework is to read through the entire packet and pose three questions to ask in class on 10/5 and 10/6 when we begin the packet. Write your questions, in English or Spanish, right on the back page of your packet. Please do not do the packet.  

On the front of the packet, we created four categories:  verbs, constructions, transitions, and vocabulario--if you did not finish this in class, finish it by 10/5 or 10/6. You are reading through the Part 1:  Interpretive Reading and pulling out these four categories, as well as looking through the entire packet for any other vocabulario you need to know.

The Unit 3 packet is due:  All pages must be completed and the WeVideo must be submitted to Google Classroom-

1) Have your packet completely filled out and ready to stamp on the due date.

2)   Please disconnect and turn in your Teacher Summary sheet with your full name and period on it to the homework box in class.  I will collect it there. 

3) Your WeVideo will be turned into Google Classroom by or on the due date.  I will use the Teacher Summary to evaluate the Presentational Speaking #5 in the packet. 

Final draft of your SER/ESTAR paragraph.  Please submit the final, typed version with the corrected MLA heading and text in the homework box.  This is a hard copy.  Attach the final draft with your corrections highlight on top of the rough draft/check list.  Place the pink final draft checklist on top of the final draft and staple. Fill out the pink checklist carefully and thoughtfully.  Remember, this project is a Category Two assignment.  Please turn it in on time and in proper format. Gracias.

Be sure to know how to conjugate SER and ESTAR, using the subject pronouns ( yo, tú, él, ella, usted, nosotros/as, vosotros/as, ellos, ellas y ustedes).  Also,  knowing the tendencies/ acronyms (DOCTOR-ser and PLACE-estar) will be helpful!  Study your cuaderno each night!
