a final thought with a powerful statement 
2. Read your speech aloud and time it. Your final speech should be 3-5 minutes long. Make any necessary changes and time it again.

3. Read your speech to another person (friend, parents, sibling, classmate, etc.). Ask for advice. What do you need to add or change to make your purpose clearer and your speech more engaging?

4. Be prepared to deliver your speech on your assigned day. Practice, practice, practice!
