  • Dividend ÷ Divisor = Dividend * (reciprocal of Divisor)
    • Example:  2/3 ÷ 1/3 =  2/3 * 3/1
  • Must convert mixed numbers to improper fraction as the first step.  The second step is to multiply by the reciprocal.
