The Digital Learning Initiative will be an important addition to our learning program to further integrate technology within our core curriculum. The goal of the program is to build a sustainable, personalized digital learning environment to boost academic achievement and better prepare students for their future. This effort will mean that each student will be encouraged to own and carry his or her own Chromebook in 6th, 7th & 8th grade at Fisher instead of the classroom-centric model that exists today. As we are a public school, we have made plans for assisting families for which the purchase of this educational tool may pose a hardship. For additional clarification based upon recent parent inquiries, the Chromebook purchase referenced must be conducted through our vetted Digital Learning Initiative vendor.
