Getting started with your new Chromebook

Printing from your Chomebook:
  • The suggested method for printing is to connect a Classic Printer
  • If you have a cloud-ready printer, please follow the manufacturer's instructions to connect it to your Chromebook
  • Visit the Google Support site for additional support (https://support.google.com/cloudprint/answer/1686197?hl=en)
  • Other ways you can print from your Chromebook at home:
    • Login to your student Gmail account using any browser on any Mac or PC computer at home that is connected to a printer and print your document/project.
First Steps:

 

1) Make sure the dock is not hidden >> If you do not see the chrome shelf located at the bottom of the screen:
 
  • move the mouse cursor to the bottom of the screen
  • hold down the alt key
  • click on the shelf
  • uncheck – Autohide shelf
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
2) Search for the app you want to use:
  • Click on the magnifying glass (search) found in the lower left-hand corner
  • Click on the All Apps
3) All authorized Apps will be available on the pages shown:
  • swipe left/right to view additional screens
  • can't find an app - search for it in the search box at the top of the screen
