About Mr. Miller
I was born and raised in Northern California and have lived in the state my whole life. I grew up playing the trombone before learning percussion and piano in high school. It was in my junior year of high school that I discovered my love for singing and began training in classical voice.
After high school, I moved to Fresno, California to pursue a degree in Physical Therapy at California State University, Fresno. After a year and a half of singing with the Fresno State Choirs, I switched my major to Vocal Performance and later earned my Bachelor of Arts in Music with an emphasis in Vocal Performance.
I went on to continue my studies of classical voice at San Jose State University as I earned my Masters of Arts in Music. While at San Jose State I discovered my passion for performing not only in Opera Theatre, but in Musical Theatre. I began performing in and teaching musical theatre productions both semi-professionally and with community theatre companies. This love of teaching musical theatre brought me back to San Jose State to earn my teaching credential so that I could instill my love of music into others.
When not teaching, I can be found performing with local choirs and musical theatre companies.
