KRJF Studio Elective / Video Production

Seventh and eighth grade students in this class are responsible for creating informative and entertaining morning announcements. To do this, KRJF crew members learn relevant technical skills as well as the process of digital storytelling. Students have access to equipment such as Canon and GoPro cameras, wireless microphones, and Final Cut Pro X on Apple iMacs. Creative students who like to act, tell stories, and work in small groups are encouraged to sign up. Students in this class must be comfortable reading scripts live to the entire school. They also must be available to film events during lunch and after school a few times throughout the year. The independent nature of the class requires students who can work with limited direct supervision.
