Meet Mrs. Fish

I love teaching life science. It’s my goal to make science as fun as possible and still have students learning. Students need to experience science to learn it, so I offer lots of hands-on lab opportunities.

I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from CSU Fresno, and a Master of Science degree in Zoology from U.C. Davis. I have a single subject credential in Life Science and a supplementary credential in Chemistry. I began my teaching career in Cupertino, then switched to Scotts Valley Unified when my children were young. I was looking for a new adventure in teaching and came to Fisher two years ago. Although my children are now out of college, I still remember what it is like to have middle schoolers.

When not in the classroom, I love to be out hiking or backpacking in the mountains. I enjoy gardening and growing flowers - especially dahlias. And, I like to spend time in the kitchen baking desserts.
