The night before the exam, eat a healthy dinner, drink water, review again, and imagine yourself doing well on the test. If you do this chances are you will do well. Early Human Artifact Project
On Thursday, October 13, and Friday, October 14, we will travel back into an ice age cave and take shelter from the elements. Great Chief Sharkwoman humbly requests that you bring an ancient artifact to help us learn about the adaptations early humans made to survive. All clan members will present their artifacts by describing what the artifact is, how it was constructed, what it was used for, and how it helped early humans to survive. Homo Habilis was the earliest human species to make tools and clothes. Homo Erectus built shelters, made clothing to live in, and harnessed fire. Homo sapiens sapiens (us) and Homo sapiens Neanderthals painted caves, healed the sick, and buried the dead. We will work in class on ideas and planning for this project. Please come see me at lunch on October 6th if you need help with ideas or supplies.
