Hi Everyone, I will be out of town in Sacramento this whole week. I will be at a training with the state of California Department of Education, reviewing future math textbooks. You will have two guest teachers this week. Mrs. Yamamoto for Monday and Friday, and Mrs. Campi for Tuesday through Thursday. Please treat them with the utmost respect. I will be back in the classroom next week on Monday (4/21/25).
I've put all of your classwork and homework for the week on this one post. You have the entire week to complete it all. Work at your own pace but do not procrastinate. Your weekly iReady is still due on Sunday night by 9pm. Your final assignment is Worksheet-9.3, we'll go over that together next week on Monday/Tuesday.
I will log on periodically through GoGuardian and chat with you all during the week. Please come to class with headphones and a charged Chromebook. Do not get caught playing video games during class time on GoGuardian either; please see school rules for consequences.
Lastly, I will be updating your grades throughout the week with your latest test/quiz scores. I will email you all when your grades are up to date. If you have any questions, contact me through direct comments on this post.

I decided to make today a review day instead of having you learn a new lesson by video. It's also a set of assignments designed for you to collect some easy points and boost your grade a little bit. Both set of assignments are electronic so hopefully your Chromebooks are charged.
The REVIEW assignment comes with an option for GRADE-LEVEL or ADVANCED. You only have to do one, not both. The REVIEW assignment is on Algebra. The other assignment is reviewing exponent rules to prepare yourself for your Quiz on Friday.
See you tomorrow!
TASK #1: REVIEW/ALGEBRA
If you want to complete the GRADE-LEVEL assignment, complete the DESMOS-Make Them Balance Activity.
If you want to complete the ADVANCED-LEVEL assignment, complete the DESMOS-Line Zapper Activity.
Both of the assignments will be worth the same amount of points. Earn 1 point per slide you complete.
TASK #2: REVIEW/EXPONENTS
Complete IXL C8, C11, and C12. Each ones is worth 5 points or a total of 15 points. These IXLs will help you review your exponent rules.

Hello Students,
Happy Friday to all! First and foremost, hope you have a great long weekend. Have fun and be safe. You have 3 tasks ahead of you.
TASK #1
Complete your iReady Math Diagnostic #1. Sorry, no moving around when we have a sub, and no calculators. Feel free to borrow a desk divider, scratch paper, or headphones if you need them.
TASK #2
If you finish the diagnostic, then start on your Workbook page 70, #1-18. I made a copy of page 70 for you, it's in the blue basket. If you are unsure of how to show work, please watch the video below.
TASK #3
Finally, if you finish everything else, get started on your iReady MyPath. Note that you can only access your iReady-MyPath if you have completed the diagnostic. Any minutes you accrue on your MyPath will get carried over into next week. See the instructions below for accessing MyPath.
