About Us
The Fisher Home & School Club is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that supports the students, teachers, administrators and families at Raymond J. Fisher Middle School. They are made up of an Executive Board, several hundred volunteers, and a General Membership representing more than 1000 families and over 1200 students. They work to raise funds and to connect volunteers for essential programs that support academic, social and campus partners as well as provide a forum for open communication.
The purposes of the Raymond J. Fisher Home & School Club:
- To establish, promote, and maintain open communication through positive working relationships between parents, faculty, and the community that enhance the educational environment of those children attending Raymond J. Fisher Middle School
- To support, promote, and enhance the best education possible for the students, and assist in the general welfare of Raymond J. Fisher Middle School by raising funds and volunteers to provide for various programs, supplies, and equipment
- To conduct such other actions as the Board may determine will improve the educational, community, and aesthetic life of Raymond J. Fisher Middle School located at 19195 Fisher Avenue, in Los Gatos, California, in Los Gatos Union School District.
Meetings
Fisher H&SC holds two regular, yearly meetings, in conjunction with our School Advisory Council, in September and May. At the first meeting in September, members will vote on the operating budget. At the May meeting, members will vote on the new H&SC board as well as the preliminary budget. In addition to September and May, the H&SC meets monthly on Fridays.
