You will record a poem using your best pronunciation. You get to choose which poem you want to record.  There are 5 poems attached the 4 other poems we have been learning and "La mer". They are all attached below. 
1. Choose which poem you want to record.
2. Before you record, listen to my recording of the poem. 
3. Practice it over and over until you memorize it and/or can recite it with ease. Please note your pronunciation will be graded as a PRODUCT grade using the rubric attached. So do your best to listen to my pronunciation and imitate it as well as you can. 
4. State the title and author of the poem them recite the poem. 
4. You can use Vocaroo to record it - link attached below. Please include your link to the  Vocaroo recording to this assignment so I can listen to it.

You will write a short description of yourself to someone. 
You will be graded on the rubric attached.
To prepare practice with the quick writes we did this week that I graded. You will have one more opportunity in class to practice before you have to complete this test.

You will be working with a partner while I assess you asking and answering questions about yourself. 
The rubric below will be used to assess you. 
A great way to prepare is to do the Gimkit assigned with the recording of the questions and the sentence starter answers.

We will do most of this in class, but if you are absent when I distribute it, please follow the directions and write the definitions and a short sentence using the verb in passé composé. All these verbs take être and the past participle modifies the verb

If you are absent for our class, please complete the worksheet attached by answering the questions with ne...rien - nothing,  ne...jamais - never or ne...personne - no one. Pay attention to what it is asking about a thing, when a thing happens or a person.
We are completing it together in class, but if you are absent, please bring it completed to the next class.

You will need to know how to count and use numbers in the activity we are doing on Friday. Please practice listening and saying the numbers. In particular, review from 60-100. Below I have several ways you can practice them: 
Speakable - this app doesn't record that you finished it, but it lets you hear and repeat what you hear. If you don't pronounce it right it will not understand you. So it's a good way to practice. 
Language Guide - another website that give you a way to listen and practice numbers. It doesn't record your progress either. 
Quizlet - is good to review numbers over 100. 
Gimkit - practice the numbers 1-100
You choose how you want to review and study them.

There will be a quiz on Friday, March 7 for ALL Classes as it will be a minimum day due to Dodgeball.

Regular verbs: ER verbs like: parler, jouer, demander, aimer, écouter, danser, (and all of the other ones that we have been studying) since these all conjugate the same way, you just need to know to drop the ER and add the appropriate endings.

We will do a lot of review this week to help you prepare but do the Conjuguemos to practice because that will make all the difference.
