Please complete each slide with the step-by-step directions that are written on each slide. This is the last process assignment that is going into the gradebook.

You need to get through 50 questions (it will let you know when this has happened). 

This link will only be active until 11:10 AM.

Use the attached readings to respond to the questions on your handout. 

This is NOT HOMEWORK. You will have time to work on the questions in class next week.

Make a drawing of the North and a drawing of the South to show how life was different in the two places. 
In each drawing, include at least one key characteristic of the area’s geography, economy, transportation, and society. 
Label and describe each key characteristic on your drawings. 

Step 1: With your group go and stand in front of a placard. Carefully examine the image and discuss Questions 1 and 2 on the placard. 

Step 2: Find the appropriate section of your Reading Notes, and write your answers to Question 2 in the first column. 

Step 3: Discuss Question 3 with your partner, read the corresponding section at your desks in the Student text. Complete the reading notes for that section.   Watch the corresponding video in TCI about the contribution.

Step 3: Insert a relevant profile picture for each President.

Write an inventive name for your hero that symbolizes something about your branch. You may focus on one part of the branch. Write this in bold comic book style across the top of your paper. 
Use your own design to create your super hero.
Design and color a uniform appropriate for your branch.
Include a symbol or logo on the uniform to represent the branch.
Using pictures, symbols and words show some of the powers of your branch around your superhero.
Using pictures, symbols and words show at least one weakness of your branch around your superhero.
Create a slogan/saying that your superhero would say (such as the Hulk saying “you wouldn’t like me when I’m angry”) that relates to your branch.
Include a team or sidekick who would support your branch (think about the members of the branch). This can be drawn or written on your page.
Fill in the background of your page by creating a lair for your superhero themed around the powers of the branch. 
DO NOT use real people as your inspiration.  
This is a Product grade, as it is testing your knowledge and application of the Three Branches of Government.

Use the attached Google Slides to fill out the Matrix for Lesson 8 Vocabulary. You will need to know these terms in order to be prepared for the upcoming lesson.

Use pages 141-142 to answer the questions for the map.

Use your Revolutionary War Study Guide to make a Gimkit, must use the attached Google Sheet in order to create the Gimkit. The best one from each class period will receive extra credit on the test. Must have a question for each question on the Study Guide.

Every question needs to be answered with correct spelling and capitalization in order for the image to appear.

Use pages 84-85 to complete the handout. All directions for what needs to be completed on the map can be found on the back of page 1.

Once you have finished your slide deck, you are going to screen-record the slides with your partner. Your goal is to educate your classmates about your topic, this will be the only information your peers will receive about this topic.

Step #1: Complete the Placard Handout of your assigned topic. 

Step #2: Find the slides that match your topic. One person in your partnership needs to highlight the slides that you need and make a copy of those slides. 

Step #3: Start filling out the information about your topic. It needs to have enough information that your peers are going to be able to understand your topic from the slides.

You and your partner are going to read about a colony from each of the three regions (New England, Middle, and Southern.) Add a comment in Google Classroom on this assignment about which colony you and your partner have chosen from each region. 

Read about each colony and draw the spoke diagram in your notebook. You will complete one per a colony.
