Using the Schoolhouse Rock Video and the BrainPop video and the graphic on page 
Create an Infographic (like the one shown on the Google Slide.) 
You can use Canva or make one on paper. If using Canva, I would use a Flow Chart template. 
Notice how this one has symbols for different steps along the way. You need to do the same. 
Must have all of the different pathways a bill could take. 
You will be working with your elbow partner.

Read through all of the directions in the Pink packet. 
Do NOT based your superhero on a real person. You can base it on fictional characters.  
You will have class today. 20 minutes of class on Tuesday. Due Date: Wednesday, December 10. 

This is a Product grade, as it is testing your knowledge and application of the Three Branches of Government.

Attach a photo of your Constitutional Super Hero to this assignment.

Complete this activity to the best of your ability. The Bill of Rights is one of the most important topics you will learn all year. 

This is going to be graded based upon accuracy.

Watch the two EdPuzzles: First one is about the Preamble to the Constitution and the second one is about the Three Branches of Government. 

Use pages 166 about the Preamble and fill out the handout. Put the Preamble into your own words so you can understand what it means. 

Use pages 167-171 about the Three Branches of Government and fill out the information. Make sure to draw a little symbol at the top of each section.

Using the information you have learned about the Constitutional Convention, collaborate on a Storyboard with a partner. The template is posted in StoryboardThat.

Our Veterans Day Assembly is just around the corner! As a reminder, we encourage you to dress nicely on the day of the event to show respect and appreciation for all those who have served our country.

If your veteran will be attending, please encourage them to wear their uniform if they wish. There will be a reception following the celebration to honor our guests.

To help us prepare, please complete the Google Form linked below if you have a veteran or parent attending the event. Do not count yourself in the total, as all students are already included in our headcount.

On the day of the event:
If you have a veteran attending, you will be excused from your flex class a few minutes early to meet your guest and sit together in the chairs on the gym floor.
All other students will sit in the bleachers with their flex class.
Students with veterans attending are also invited to the reception in the breezeway after the assembly to enjoy some snacks with their guest.
