This test will cover all 11 chapters of the American Revolution reading. Study all quiz questions and reread the chapters to prepare (see PDFs attached in Google Classroom). This test has 25 multiple choice questions and is worth 25 product points.

Our Veterans Day Assembly is tomorrow! As a reminder, we encourage you to dress nicely on the day of the event to show respect and appreciation for all those who have served our country.

If your veteran will be attending, please encourage them to wear their uniform if they wish. 

On the day of the event:
You will go to your flex class at the start of school.
If you have a veteran attending, you will be excused from your flex class a few minutes early to meet your guest and sit together in the chairs on the gym floor.
All other students will sit in the bleachers with their flex class.
Students with guests attending are also invited to the reception in the breezeway after the assembly to enjoy some snacks with their guest.
We look forward to celebrating this special day with you!

Finish your Veteran picture assignment and make sure your work is neat and complete. Open your Chromebook camera (press the  key + Camera, or find it in the app menu).Take a clear photo of your assignment. Be sure the whole page is visible and easy to read.Go to the shared Google Slide deck in Google Classroom.Insert your photo:
Click on any available slide slide. 
Go to Insert → Image → Upload from computer and select your photo.
Resize/adjust your picture so it fits nicely on the slide. Double-check your slide before closing the deck.
That’s it! Your photo will now be part of the slideshow shown during the Veteran’s Day celebration. 
Don't forget to bring the picture in on the due date.

This assignment will get you familiar with navigating your online textbook. You can access your text through Clever and go to TCI.

Log in to TCI through Clever. Look through the each lesson in Unit 1. You will create a cover page in your notebook for Unit 1. You will need the name of the unit, all four lesson titles, and colored pictures representing each lesson. Use your online book to gain inspiration from titles and pictures. Check the notebook assignment list to make sure you leave enough pages for prior assignments.

We will use the 20 events from your life to create a personal timeline of the top 5.

Remember to how your completed timeline to a parent or guardian, and ask if they agree with the events you chose.  If they do agree with your events, they can circle them in a different color, but if they believe other events are more critical to your growth as a person, they can add these events in a different color.  Your parent/guardian does NOT need to write why; they just need to add the events to your timeline.  Your parent/guardian needs to sign your timeline.
