Q1 2025 Period 4 Wheel 6-French-Q1 6th grade French Culture Assignments

Here is what people signed up to bring. Let me know if you want to add or change anything.

Follow the directions on the slides and make your own presentation about your country. Please complete at least 2 slides about your country for full credit. You will present these to the class.

Write the names of the Francophone countries on the map I give you in class. Then color the Francophone countries a different color or at least so that no two bordering countries are the same color. 

In class we will watch the video and try to recreate the image together.
You can follow the example or do your own version using your own color combinations. 
If you want to follow the way it is done in the video,  feel free to use the Step-by-step instructions below to help you complete it. 
You can have this open on your Chromebook at your table to help you follow the steps.

1. Take out the list of Paris monuments that you rated your interest in and plan a trip. 
2. Read the directions on each slide. Delete the directions after you have added what they say. 
3. Choose a hotel, restaurants and places you want to see. 
4. Make it pretty, change the font, background, colors and make it fun. 
ONLY INCLUDE IMAGES THAT ARE ON TOPIC. OFF TOPIC IMAGES WILL RESULT IN A LOWER GRADE! (worth 30 points - save goofy stuff for another day)

Use the attached slideshow to make your own version of 2 truths and a lie. We will play this in class and see how well your peers know you.

Use the list of salutations for the conversations of your characters. Below you will find 2 panels cartoon to use. I'm cutting the 4 panel in half. 
Your cartoon should be drawn by hand not done on the computer.
The assignment sheet includes the rubric and the list of greetings we have been learning in class.
