To turn it in, click on “add or create”, then file, then “upload from computer”, then “downloads”, then click on the most recent screenshot. 

After you upload your photo, complete the google form below, and then turn in the assignment.

Read through the "Disneyland Information 2026" as a class, then answer the questions in the google form.

Our concert is on  Friday March 13th at McAfee Center at Saratoga High School . We will be sharing this concert with the LGHS bands.

YOU WILL NEED TO BRING YOUR INSTRUMENT AND BINDER FROM FISHER TO SARATOGA HIGH SCHOOL.

To avoid an overly long evening, the concert will be split into two events. Students are expected to remain in the audience and listen to the high school musicians during their concert , but they do not  need to attend the other time slot (unless they would like to!).

6:50 PM – Fisher Concert Band arrives
7:00 PM – Fisher Concert Band sound check
7:00 PM – Fisher Symphonic Band arrives, sets up, and takes seats in the audience
7:30 PM – Fisher Concert Band, Fisher Symphonic Band, LGHS Wind Ensemble
Student Attire (Formal Concert Dress):

Please remember to bring instruments and binders.

Come directly to the MPR on Monday, 3/9 for combined Concert Band practice.  I will email all flex teachers to let them know.

Fill this out only if you are going to Disneyland.

If you are not attneding the disneyland trip, you do not need to do this assignment. 

1. Create your group of 6 for hotel rooms for Disneyland. If your group has less than 6, let me know and I will add you to a different list. 
2. Decide which group member is going to sign up for the group. 
3. That group member signs up the entire group on the form. 
4. Make sure you enter your group in the BAND section, and choose the correct gender room. 

Only one person from each group should fill out the form.

We are having our first fundraiser cabaret concert January 29th at 6pm. The audience will donate at the door for the concert. Please fill out this form if you would like to perform either solo or with a group. You will work on the performance on your own and has to be cleared by a music teacher before the performance.

We are taking formal group photos tomorrow, 1/7. 


What Students Need to Bring on Wednesday

All clothing items in a (drop off at your music classroom in the morning)

Let's celebrate our concerts and the end of the first semester!

Bring snacks to share (no nuts) and a gift to exchange.

Every student needs to fill out this form before 12/12 so we can plan our White Elephant party!

White Elephant Party- Thursday 12/18 during class

Directions: Bring a wrapped gift to exchange.  The gift can be gently used or new (under 15 dollars) and needs to be school appropriate.  NO nerf toys/weapon like toys, no nuts, no rude items, etc. If you aren't sure if an item is appropriate, it is not!

If you are unable to bring a gift and want to participate, let me know so I can provide a gift for you to exchange.

We will meet in the MPR on Monday, 12/8 during flex. 

You do not need to check in with your flex teacher, I sent an email to all staff.  If you are worried about being marked absent, pick up a flex pass from me during lunch to give to your teacher right when the bell rings!

Have your parents go to parentsquare and search for the "Third Disney Payment moved to December 5" message to pay online.

Or, you can turn in a check for 200 dollars written out to Los Gatos Music Boosters to me or Mr. Miller.

2. If you were in band last year at Fisher, click login. If the username or password does not work, I can reset it for you.
Username: the beginning of your email without the @lgusd.org (first four of first name, first six of last name)
Password: the same password as your gmail account

Our first concert at Fisher is on Wednesday, October 15th in the quad. 

Here is the schedule:

Trojan Band arrive at 3:00pm perform at 3:30pm
Concert Band arrive at 4:00pm perform at 4:30pm
Jazz Band arrive at 4:45 perform at 5:00pm on the stage in the quad
Symphonic Band arrive at 5:00pm perform at 5:30pm

Attire: black music t-shirt, any pants/shorts, any shoes
Optional hat or sunglasses

If you will not be able to attend, you must complete the performance conflict form and complete a makeup assignment.

Fill out this form during class.  Winner will be announced on Wednesday, 10/15.

Practice all of page four in your book for your quiz.  You will play one line in class (it can be any line, so make sure you're ready to play all of them) on Monday, October 6th.

If you would rather make a recording, you will need to record ALL of page 4 (can be one long track or 9 separate tracks) and turn them here before October 6th.  

If you do not turn in a recording before class on 10/6, you will play in class.

Listen to each song, give it a rating, and choose your top three for our Winter Concert.

All students need to have their parent complete the "Disneyland Deposit and Chaperone Interest Form", even if you are not planning to attend the Disneyland trip.  We want to make sure that all families know that the deadline to register is September 19th. 

Have your parent search "Disneyland" to find the post from Mr. Miller.
