Begin by creating Thumbnail Sketches using the templates given to you in class.  Create at least 5 different design ideas, then take your best ideas and recreate them using the ROUGH DRAFT template given to you in class.

Once finished with the ROUGH DRAFT then have it scanned.  Mr.Anzaldo will send your scanned ROUGH to you via email.

Open a LETTER size canvas in Adobe Illustrator.  Use your scanned artwork as your template.  Follow the Rubric posted below.

Directions:
Step 1:  Open Adobe Illustrator. At the top of the menu go to File, New. Open a new CANVAS page.


Step 2: Select the Type Tool and type the word TEST (in all caps) and place the word in the middle of your canvas.


Step 3:  Using the Selection Tool, select the word TEST.  In the top menu, go to Type, then on the drop down menu, go to Font and select a new font of your choice.  After choosing a new font, the word TEST will still need to be readable.


Step 4: Save your work.  (Refer to the "Saving your work" post in Google Classroom)


Step 5:  Submit your assignment.  (Refer to the "Submitting your assignments"
