Please use the attached tutorial to complete this assignment.   Students will be using Adobe Illustrator in class to complete this assignment.  This assignment is an "in class" assignment only.  Students are not expected to have Adobe Illustrator at home.  Students will be given plenty of time in class to complete.  Have fun!

Students will be using Adobe Illustrator to complete this assignment.

Directions:
Step 1:  Open Adobe Illustrator. At the top of the menu go to File, New. Open a new CANVAS page.


Step 2: Select the Type Tool and type the word TEST (in all caps) and place the word in the middle of your canvas.


Step 3:  Using the Selection Tool, select the word TEST.  In the top menu, go to Type, then on the drop down menu, go to Font and select a new font of your choice.  After choosing a new font, the word TEST will still need to be readable.


Step 4: Save your work.  (Refer to the "Saving your work" post in Google Classroom)


Step 5:  Submit your assignment.  (Refer to the "Submitting your assignments"

This assignment will be handed out during class.  Students should read with a parent, have parent sign, then return to Mr. Anzaldo.

Instructions for students:








1. Find a picture of a Disney or Looney Tunes

cartoon character and print it. The picture can

be printed in black & white or color. If you do

not have access to a printer you may bring in a

picture from a magazine, movie cover, etc.
2. The picture must be no smaller than the size of
your hand, approximately, and no bigger than 3/4 the
size of a printer paper, approximately.


Bring this printout to Mr. Anzaldo on Monday (August 18) for points.

In class assignment.  
The Teacher will handout the Art Survey assignment in during class and students will complete this assignment in class.
