Directions:
Step 1: Open Adobe Illustrator. At the top of the menu go to File, New. Open a new CANVAS page.
Step 2: Select the Type Tool and type the word TEST (in all caps) and place the word in the middle of your canvas.
Step 3: Using the Selection Tool, select the word TEST. In the top menu, go to Type, then on the drop down menu, go to Font and select a new font of your choice. After choosing a new font, the word TEST will still need to be readable.
Step 4: Save your work. (Refer to the "Saving your work" post in Google Classroom)
Step 5: Submit your assignment. (Refer to the "Submitting your assignments"

cartoon character and print it. The picture can
be printed in black & white or color. If you do
not have access to a printer you may bring in a
picture from a magazine, movie cover, etc.
2. The picture must be no smaller than the size of
your hand, approximately, and no bigger than 3/4 the
size of a printer paper, approximately.
Bring this printout to Mr. Anzaldo on Monday (August 18) for points.
