Quiz on matter and changes in matter, Wednesday, October 7. Study! This is for a product score.

Please study for the upcoming matter quiz. It is VERY similar to the quick check on matter you took last week. It will count as a product score for 1st quarter. Please see Ms. Fish during Flex on Monday or Tuesday if you didn't do well on the quick check. 
Be sure to know the following for Wednesday's quiz:
1. The difference between physical and chemical properties
2. The difference between a compound, a molecule, an element, and a mixture, and be able to identify examples of them.
3. Know how to identify a homogeneous mixture from a heterogeneous mixture.
4. Know the definitions of matter and substance.
5. Be able to identify a molecule from a model.

Use the instructions and the resources to complete the project. You will also have Oct 2 to work on the mini poster. It then becomes homework and is due 10/9.

The Types of Matter mini poster and States of Matter Workbook worksheet are due on Friday.
