1st Period FRENCH 1-2026-2027 Assignments

For this assignment you will start with a greeting, you will tell me the date, then you will tell me when is your birthday. Then you should say thank you and good-bye. If you want to use a different greeting or good-bye or add any other information you can. Here is the basic script you can use:
Bonjour Madame
Aujourd'hui est le ______ ______
Mon anniversaire est le ____ _______
Merci beaucoup
Au revoir Madame.

Read the short passage and answer the questions about the passage. We started this in class. Use the copy I gave you. If you have finished it when we were in class, just click done. If you are absent, make a copy of this and complete it for the next class.

Below there are several ways to practice the alphabet in French.  We started learning it last week. This will help you practice the alphabet.

Use the copy handed out in class or print your own (attached).  Decorate your hoodie to portray things about yourself.  You can attach images if you prefer but you need to provide them. See samples attached for ideas.  Your hoodies will be graded as follows: 
5 points = Follows instructions - each section responds to the prompt on the second sheet
5 points = On effort - completely fills the space, doesn't appear rushed, uses more than 5 colors
5 points = On creativity = doesn't copy examples but includs unique items that correspond with who you are. 
These will be posted on the wall for Back-to School-Night.
