Outdoor Lab Day 1 Bring anemometer and barometer from last week's lab - we will do this Friday
Weather News Forecast - Go over the Rubric and instructions as a class. Divide your lab group into pairs. each pair will do their own project. Decide which location you will report on, then make a shareable doc for you and your partner so you can write a script for your forecast. You will turn this in after you present. Use the rubric to guide you. Choose a slide under "Untitled presentation" and type in your names and location. This is where you will attach your video.

Surface Features Lab - Do the Doc on the computer and turn it in. Dismantle your landform when you have finished and make sure to keep the clay separated by color. No color Mixing. Put it back into the bag for the next class. 
Work on recording your video for your weather forecast. It is due next Wednesday.

Group A will make the Barometer
Group B will make the Anemometer.

Demo:  Air Mass collision Warm vs Cold. Draw two boxes to represent the one in the demo. Draw and color the box before the experiment, then draw and color the box after the the two "fronts" collide. Explain what happened using the word density and how this represents a collision of a warm and cold front.

We will do the Air Masses and Weather Fronts notes in class. You will need red and blue colored pencils or pens/markers.
Go through the slide deck and take notes on the notes handout. Do the activity with the National Forecast Charts
Take the quiz. Go back to your notes and highlight anything you got wrong.
