Please upload a PDF file of your progress on the Lost in Oaxaca page to this assignment. A few notes!
Make sure to download the PDF from Canva first. We did it in class, but if you missed it or need to do it again, click Share in the upper right of Canva when the doc is open. Then download. Select PDF from the dropdown and then click Download again.
In this assignment, when attaching your work, don't go to Google Drive! After clicking + Add or create, select File from the dropdown. Then Browse and then find your PDF file. It's probably in My Drive or your Downloads folder.
Make sure your document is named LastnameOaxacaPage.pdf (but make sure it's YOUR last name instead of "Lastname").

A.2 - Personal Yearbook Page: Getting Photos
Think about how you'll get images for your Personal Yearbook Page. If you choose Option 1, you'll need to do this at home - hopefully before Monday's class! Option 2 can be completed in class.
Option 1: Upload Photos from Phone or Computer to Google Drive
If your device with photos is able to access either the Google Drive app or the Google Drive website...
Open Google Drive (app or website) and tap or click on your profile icon to make sure you're on your school email.
Tap the colorful + (Plus) button at the bottom right of the app or click "+ New" in the upper left of the website.
Select "File Upload" or Upload ➡️ Photos and Videos.
Tap 4 to 5 photos and select Upload.
Option 2: Use stock or web images
Maybe you went to a National Park over the summer? Great! Let's just use the internet to get some pictures of that park and what we might find there. You don't have to use personal photos if you don't have an easy way to access them or just don't want to. It's fine to find these images during class.
If you want to explore other options, we can do so, but I don't want this to get too complicated for you. Our goal with the personal yearbook page is simply to get a feel for what it's like to consider headlines, layouts, copy, and other yearbook elements while also sharing a bit about ourselves :)

If you landed on a topic for your personal yearbook page on Friday's class, you're good to go! We'll aim to finish drafts in about 20 minutes on Monday and then progress to a digital version. If not, make sure you have a solid topic/idea for Monday's class. No need to turn in any documents or written work for this assignment - just bring your thoughts to class!
