Period 3 (2024-2025) Science 7

Your notebook will be checked and graded for a process grade. Be sure your Table of Contents is complete and your pages are numbered. Your notebook should be organized exactly like Mrs. Fish's. All answers should be written as complete sentences using part of the question in your answer. She will be docking points for incomplete answers.
This notebook check will count for around 40-50 points. Consider this a homework assignment and do a good job. 
THERE ARE NO RE-DOs.
Mrs. Fish will be checking notebook pages starting on page 94. Additional pages may be added before the due date which are not yet listed on the attached table of contents. 

All pages should be completed, front and back.

A sample Table of Contents is attached for you. Some additional items will be added to the notebook later this week and next.

Use the study guide to study for the upcoming unit test on Ecology. Please review notes in your notebook, FISH Journal questions, and notes on Google Classroom. Don't just read your notes, test yourself to make sure you know the information. (Free printable flashcard maker https://www.kitzkikz.com/flashcards/). You MUST know the vocabulary and how to use the information.

Use the information on your study guide and in your notebook to create your EBS ( EXTERNAL BRAIN SHEET - think Cheat Sheet).  The EBS is ONE SIDE piece of an index card (4 X 6) given in class, must be hand-written, and can be used on the test. For this assessment, you may write on ONE SIDE of the index card. The EBS is your homework for the week of the test and will be collected after you take the test. To get full credit for your homework (EBS), you must completely fill one side of the index card with notes that will be useful to you on the test.

Students will take a multiple-choice online unit test and lab practicum on Wednesday, April 2, and Thursday/Friday, April 3 and 4.
There are no retakes or corrections on tests in 7th grade science because you get to use an EBS on the test. Please prepare in advance for your test. Attached is the study guide.
