Due:

🌎 7. STAGE 2: Society

🌎 7. STAGE 2: Society's Research & Development Opportunities

1. As a group, determine what elements of society your group may want to develop/improve in regards to your ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT (see attached slide deck for 'Guidelines and Suggestions for  Research & Development' - Make sure to review Stage 2 Golden Slides )

2. Find articles (example: Newsela) dealing with those elements that will help your society develop or advance. (example: Skill/Weaving).  Consider skills that will advance your workforce and/or development of natural resources AS WELL AS increasing knowledge of economic policies such as tariffs/local taxes, use of a shared currency, or trade practices.

Note: You should NOT be using 'Google Search' results as your article. Practice research skills that we have been developing in class all year.

3. Once you find an article to read, record the necessary information on your shared "Society Article Log" document. This document is to make sure students are not doing the same articles.  You will want to share what you learn with your group, so you want to make sure your group have a wide variety of topics and knowledge to share with each other. However, you may also post articles for other group members to read as well.

4. Read the article and complete the attached Google Form based on the content provided in the article.

5. Repeat steps 2-4 for a second article to earn additional bonuses for your society.
