P1 Social Studies 7 Kaefer '24-'25

Directions:
1. Watch each of the videos attached below.
2. While and/or after watching each video properly complete one of the charts on your yellow packet titled Around the World Video Preview (it doesn't matter what order you go in)
*Use the attached map set to determine which "Region" each society video is located.

PURPOSE: to create a review activity that will help both you AND your classmates prepare for the Unit 3 test on GEPS.  Please see the directions below:

1. Choose the type of review you would like to create. (Blooket, Google Form, or Quizlet)

2. Title your Review Activity: Unit 3 GEPS Review 

3. You MUST include a review with a MINIMUM of 20 total questions that cover ALL of the GEPS categories (5 questions minimum for each of the GEPS topics). 
The questions can be any combination of the following:
Multiple Choice
Fill in
Matching
True/False
4. NO OPEN ENDED QUESTIONS

5. Questions should include the following content:
Questions that define basic vocabulary terms from each GEPS category: (ex: climate, export, democracy,)
Questions that ask which 'topics' go into GEPS categories (ex: The topic of "ART" is under which GEPS category?)
Questions that ask which 'topics' go into multiple GEPS categories (ex: The topic of "RESOURCES" is under which GEPS categories?)
Questions that give a 'written passage' about a topic and students would need to identify what the GEPS category of the passage is.  
EXAMPLE written passage:  "Castles gradually became more elaborate. Many had tall towers for looking out across the land. The main castle building had a variety of rooms, including storerooms, kitchens, dining hall, sleeping quarters for distinguished guests." 
EXAMPLE question: Which of the following GEPS categories would this topic be under?
