Chamber Orchestra - Krijnen - 4(A)-4(A)

Dear Chamber Strings Families,

Our Chamber Strings students have the opportunity to audition for the California All-State Junior High Orchestra.  

If chosen, students are invited to attend the California All-State Music Conference that will be held from January 15th-18th in Sacramento.  If your child is interested, they need to start practicing and preparing for the audition right away. 

The music must be prepared on students own time.  Working with a private instructor is highly recommended. 

**If you need help, please let me know by the end of September. 

There is a $55 application fee and all audition material is due on Thursday, October 30th at 9pm. 

If you are interested in auditioning, please find and complete the "CODA Student Information Collection Form" and either email it to me or give me a hard copy by Friday, Sept 26th.

Please ask your parents to check their Parent-Square notifications from Corey Miller

Arrive at School wearing your formal concert attire including black socks and black dress shoes. 

Drop off your backpack, change of clothes, and anything else in the orchestra room. 

Pick up your instrument/music and be in your seat in the gym at 7:50 am.  (Leave everything else in the orchestra room)

*Bring a change of clothes including shoes and label the bag with your name. 
*Be sure to keep all of your items organized and in your bag or backpack*

Following the assembly, all the music students will change their clothes in the music wing:  
Girls will change in B1 (orchestra room) 
Boys will change in B3 (choir room)

You may leave your orchestra uniform in the orchestra room, but please pick it up at the end of the day.
