If you didn't read for three hours this week outside of English class, make a plan to read this weekend.

Homework: Complete all parts of the Solo on Card 8 (Sub-unit 2 > Lesson 6). Press "Hand in" on Amplify when you're done.

You will listen to or read Edgar Allan Poe's "The Cask of Amontillado" to prepare for our next short story. This story will be challenging, but we will work together to comprehend it in class. Try your best. I hope you enjoy it!

7th-graders will read 20 independently selected novels OR 5,000 pages by the end of the school year.
