Your first writing assignment will be a paragraph about your name.  Why were you given this name? What does it mean? Do you like it or not? What does your name mean to you? Use the brainstorming handout if you're feeling stuck.

Homework: Finish the rough draft of your paragraph. We will edit/revise together in class next week. 

Rough Draft: Wednesday, 8/20
Final Draft with a PHOTO of yourself: Tuesday, 8/26

Mrs. Brucato will print your paragraph, and you will decorate them in class.

If you didn't finish in class, bring your completed Camp Trojan flag to English tomorrow.
