all right hello everybody for our geometry class this will cover section 1.8 or the formulas for Section 1.8 so I can get started this will be video because it actually covers I 1.7 and 1.8 we already started with 1.7 we're going to finish 1.8 course this was this was midpoint and distance is but we're also going to cover parameters circumferences and areas let's recap what we've done or ready we work with the midpoint formula we're done with that he worked with the distance formula so it look at that here are your new formula specific to section 1.8 area of a rectangle area of a circle X radius square circumference a circle circumference equals 2 * pi but I know a lot of you guys might prefer diameter times pi because twice the radius is the same diameter we have one more down here perimeter it's the sum of all the sides but the forza perimeters only applied to a polygon like a rectangle or a square right or a trapezoid but Circle the sum of all the sides for a serf I want a circle doesn't have sides right round circular so perimeter class two polygons circumference of flies to thank you
