Cross Country 24-25 Season
Attention Cross Country Parents. Emergency Paperwork (the JOT Form) for this upcoming season will open on AUGUST 26th. Space is limited to 40 participants per grade so do not delay. Once you have completed the Emergency (JOT) Form, you will be sent the LG Park and Rec Registration Online Form.
September 3rd is the first day of practice, but students should look for an on-campus lunchtime meeting for more information regarding CoEd Cross Country on AUGUST 28th. Cross Country is a "non-cut" sport, everyone makes the team. Thank you for being patient!
The registration link includes all the paperwork needed to participate in this sport. No athlete may practice or compete till the Emergency Paperwork is completed. The payment Registration portal will be open on AUGUST 28th with a different link that will be sent to you.

Welcome to the 2024-35 Cross-Country Season! Cross Country is a no-cut sport and is a great opportunity to come out, get fit, and be part of a fun team! We recommend that all athletes be able to run without stopping for at least 1 mile before joining the team.
Practice starts after school on Monday, September 2nd, and is from 3:00-4:30. Monday through Thursday practices start at 3:00 pm and end at 4:45 pm. (There is no practice on Fridays.) Practice attendance is mandatory and no more than 3 absences are allowed during the season.
Uniforms consist of a Fisher jersey, which will be distributed on TBD, and green or black shorts of your choice. (PE shorts are OK.)
Note there are no practices on Fridays or Saturdays--the workouts listed for those days are just suggestions for athletes who want to run on their own on those days.
The Meet schedule is TBD. You are responsible for getting your athletes to the meets.
Volunteers wanted!
We welcome parent volunteer help. If you are able to join us at practice and run with the kiddos, please let Mark Fanderl (Athletic Director) know. Even if just a day! Volunteers must be fingerprinted and have a current TB test before volunteering.
We also need extra help with meet days--a couple of parents at each meet to help direct the runners through the course.
We are looking forward to a great season!
