Grading Weighting Percentages

Assessments

Formative - Quizzes etc.  

Individual teachers will decide protocol to allow students to relearn the material and re-assess.  

Summative - End of Unit Tests - Science department does not allow corrections or retakes of unit tests.

Studying/Preparing - All grades will provide some form of study guide or reference to notebook to review material

For Test Day

6th - Teacher Led One Page Note Sheet can be used on test

7th - Student Created One Page Note sheet (Teacher Prompted) - Can be used on test

8th - No Notes Allowed (formulas will be provided as needed)
