The eighth grade curriculum is aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards and introduces you to the world of Physical Science with an emphasis on:  Energy in Motion, Electromagnetism, Waves, Thermal and Chemical Energy, Engineering, and Investigation and Experimentation.

Evaluation

• Weighted categories (Learning Opportunities = 30%, Assessments and Projects = 70%)
• PowerSchool is updated frequently but there may be a delay for assignments that are in progress. The best way to find out about your current grade is to speak with me directly. Be sure to keep all assignments as a ‘receipt’ in case there is any dispute.
